Amelia Island
Client: Amelia Island Tourist Development Council, FL
Design the graphic concept standards for the application of the new brand identity on gateway signage, special event banners and merchandising.

Cambridge Central Square Public Improvements Program
Client: Carr, Lynch and Sandell, Cambridge, MA
Design of graphic standards for pedestrian kiosks, parking identification and directional signage. A comprehensive guidelines standards manual was developed.

Cambridge Center Mixed Use Development
Client: Cambridge Redevelopment Authority, Cambridge, MA
Graphic identity and marketing materials for Cambridge Center development including public sector improvement standards of the 24-acre site, public information signing and kiosks and signing for office buildings and garages. A comprehensive guidelines standards manual was developed for signing for commercial tenants and public art applications. (1)

Cane River National Heritage Area
Client: Cane River National Heritage Area Commission, LA
An integrated branding and visitor information system including design of the brand logo, auto heritage trail, directional signs, historic site markers, interpretive plaques and a graphics program to link each heritage site and a guidebook to present the region as a whole.

City of Galveston
Client: Galveston Park Board of Trustees, TX
Design and performance standards for gateway signs, promotion banners and visitor information program for island recreation areas.

Hampton Roads Regional Tourism Study
Client: Hampton Roads Partnership, VA
Developed a strategic approach to the design and integration of tourist guide signs in the Hampton Roads region - the 27th largest metro area in the US with more than 1.5 million people.

City of Lowell Downtown Redevelopment Project
Client: City of Lowell, MA
A graphics program that included a traffic directional system, a pedestrian kiosk/map system, historical signing and target destination identification. (1)

Natchitoches National Historic Landmark District
Client: City of Natchitoches, LA
An integrated branding and visitor information program including trail markers, gateway, historic site signs, directional and interpretive signs, special exhibits and an illustrated historic district map guide.

Client: City of Natchitoches, LA
An integrated branding and marketing program includes new logotype, publication materials and signage for city facilities. Economic development marketing program includes printed and web base information.

National Center for Preservation Technology and Training - NCPTT
Client: National Park Service / U.S. Department of the Interior
Design the identity site signage and application standards of the main facility.

City of Norfolk
Client: City of Norfolk, VA
An integrated branding, visitor information and wayfinding program for downtown Norfolk includes a new brand identity logo, wayfinding directional sign, pedestrian information kiosks, special events program, gateway signs, banners, transportation identity program, parking facility identification and a historical program including the identity, walking trail, interpretive exhibits and guide books.

Downtown Norfolk Council
Client: Downtown Norfolk Council, VA
An integrated marketing and information resource program to be used by developers, investment groups and corporations. The project materials provided information to encourage investment and to increase brand awareness for the downtown district.

South Oise Region of France / Town of Chantilly
Client: Foundation de Chantilly, France
A study of tourist related signage for the South Oise Region of France and conceptual design for signage at the historic Hippodrome de Chantilly.

City of Walla Walla
Client: City of Walla Walla, WA
A branding, communications and signage program including a new logotype, marketing materials, advertising campaign, walking trails, pedestrian information kiosk system, historical signing and brochures for special destinations.

Longwood Medical Area
Client: Medical Area Service Corporation, Boston, MA
A comprehensive wayfinding system aimed at establishing an identity for the area and improving traffic circulation. Longwood encompasses 175 acres and 11 teaching hospitals. (1)

Mid Coast Medical Center
Client: Mid Coast Health Services, Brunswick, ME / Shepley Bulfinch, Boston, MA
A comprehensive identity, signage and wayfinding program included identity branding and publication design standards for the corporation and the supporting organizations. Design of the interior and exterior identification and wayfinding signage for the main campus, the hospital and medical center office buildings. Design of the donor recognition exhibits and the installation of an arts program.

South County Hospital
Client: South County Hospital Healthcare System, Wakefield, RI / ADD Inc. Cambridge, MA
A comprehensive signage and wayfinding program included interior and exterior identification and wayfinding signage for the campus, hospital and medical office buildings. Design of the donor recognition signage program and the exhibit in the main lobby.

Desert Inn Resort
Client: ITT Sheraton
Brand identity, graphic design and sign standards for the Las Vegas resort. Design of the logo, marketing materials and signage, including the 60 foot identity pylon tower, building facade as well as the interior areas such as reception, spa and club store.

Four Points Hotels
Client: ITT Sheraton
Brand identity, graphic design and sign standards for the hotel chain. Design of the logo, marketing materials and performance standards for the identity signage.

Irish National Stakes
A special event graphics program for the Irish National Stakes horse race held each year in Dublin, Ireland. Design and performance standards for a new identity motif, rail and paddock banners, trophies and presentation podium.

Piazza Azzurra
Client: Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, Italy
Design of an identity, graphics and signage program for this community event center. Develop the new brand logo for Piazza Azzurra, retail storefront branding application standards, event identity banners and identification signage.

Yacht Club Costa Smeralda
Client: Yacht Club Costa Smeralda, Sardinia, Italy
Design of the environmental signage components for the renovation and expansion of the club. Includes the application of the YCCS brand identity, racing venue graphics, building identification and pedestrian wayfinding signage.

New York Marriott Marquis Hotel
Client: John Portman Associates
Signage for the hotel, special graphics for nine in-hotel restaurants and graphics guidelines for retail shops and facilities. This 1,876-room hotel was the centerpiece of the urban revitalization of the New York theatre district. (1)

Arthur D. Little World Headquarters
Client: Arthur D. Little, Inc., Cambridge, MA
An interior and exterior signage program for the expansion of this 55-acre site including application of the corporate band, site identification, wayfinding and building identification. The new visitor main reception building includes the design of special exhibits, promotion displays and a historical time line wall mural.

One Financial Center
Client: Rose Associates, Boston, MA
Signage for this 1.5 million SF office tower in Boston’s financial district that included office space, restaurants, theaters, shops, and parking facilities. (1)

General Electric Plastics
Client: General Electric Plastics, Pittsfield, MA
Design of marketing materials and exhibits for conferences, trade shows and industrial design shows. Provided research, planning, structural design, graphic design, production art and supervision of manufacturing, shipping and installations. Projects include the GE Plastics World Expo in Beijing, China, the "Home of the Future" built in Pittsfield, MA, the GE Diamond exhibit for Beijing, China and the Medical Division US trade show program.

Hynes Convention Center
Client: Massachusetts Convention Authority
Signage and visitor information program that included a computer graphics system employing large-scale electronic directories at the facility's principal entrances and electronic directional signing at key decision points. (1)

Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research
Client: Kling Stubbins, Cambridge, MA
A comprehensive signage program for the 500,000 SF Corporate Headquarters facility including the application of the Novartis brand identity, signing of all interior and exterior entrances, open spaces, individual offices, conference rooms and research labs.

Olbia International Airport
Client: Geasar S.p.A., Olbia, Italy
A comprehensive signage program includes the auto directional signs, parking identification, pedestrian information signs and individual signage program for Eccelsa, General Air.

Pacifico National Exhibition and Convention Center
Client: Nikken-Sekkei Architects Master Planners, Yokohama, Japan
Design concepts and a complete signage, graphics and visitor information master plan for Mirato Mirai and Pacifico. Concepts for interactive electronic information kiosks, an eight-language city map system and automobile and pedestrian directional signage.

Polaroid Corporation
Client: Polaroid Corporation Cambridge, MA
Design of identity, marketing materials and exhibits for retail stores, conference centers, trade shows and industrial design shows. Provided research, planning, structural design, graphic design, production art and supervision of manufacturing, shipping and installation.

Seabrook Power Station Evacuation Plan
Client: BMC Strategies, Lexington, MA
Design of the emergency evacuation communication materials and directional signage encompassing three states and 17 cities and towns.

UniFirst Corporate Headquarters
Client: UniFirst Corporation, Wilmington, MA
Identity standards and resource manual for the application of the identity to service vehicles and facilities in the U.S. and Canada. Signage application included site identification, wayfinding and building identification. Vehicle application included cross country tractor-trailer trucks and service delivery trucks.
